POSH Carlisle Labour MP Julie Minns has never kept it quiet that she was brung up on the mean streets of, er, Denton Holme.
But a recent row suggests that she is not so down with the homies after all.

In a stunning outbreak of actual journalism, The News & Scar has just revealed how ordinary members of the public have been SHUT OUT of her Labour office in the city.
Because of pre-emptive “security concerns,” you can’t just walk in and are instructed by a poster in the window to email, ring a hotline, or attend a future surgery.
The address of her office isn’t even advertised.
(Wringing wet Penrith Tory MP Neil “Dudson” had similar paranoias and hid his office away on an out-of-town industrial estate rather than risk a run-in with the plebs).
And it can only mean that Ms Minns and her advisers now view EVERYONE who comes over the threshold as a potential threat?
For a political party so keen to wag the finger at the Great Unwashed for jumping to dark conclusions about our newly-arrived sons off the dinghies, treating every elector in Carlisle as a potential security risk is surely DOUBLE STANDARDS of the highest order?
It seems like the only border that’s really secure in this country is the one separating Labour MPs from their electors!
