CRUMBRIA: 17.03.2026
HAVING infuriated Barrovia today by backing the demolition of The Forum and Market Hall, you might have thought Wokemoreland & Farcical Clowncil might keep its head down.
Not a bit of it.
Instead, the Council – run by a Lib Dem dictatorship – marked World Social Work Day by posting sanctimonious drivel on its Facebook page.
The Council shared “a Harambee call” — that’s Swahili, an East African language, and the national motto of, er, Kenya.
Harambee means “Let’s all pull together”.
The Council then went on lecture its 19,000 Facebook followers about “co-building hope & harmony” and “uniting a divided society”.

Barrovians are united, all right.
In fury at Kendal area councillors waving through today’s wrecking-ball vote without a guarantee of a replacement entertainments venue.
And why is a small rural Council in Crumbria – responsible for collecting wheeie bins – trying to sound like a minor agency of the UN with delusions of grandeur?
“No society can thrive when its people are divided or excluded,” the Council foamed at the mouth in today’s FB post.
Aggrieved ratepayers may wonder whether this sort of Commie claptrap is what this year’s 4.99% Council Tax hike pays for.
Barrow’s culture gets DEMOLITION. Facebook gets an East African call for unity.
